• Went to see Rusty Scott Quarter as part of Jazz in July free concert series. Didn't expect much, didn't like it


• Les Claypool (of Primus, Frog Brigade, Sausage fame) is reading(!) selections from his new book(!!) at Porter Square Books @ 6 PM tonight. Unfortunately, I can't get there


• Slim Cessna's Auto Club (great country band with just a bit of punk rock thrown into the mix; my favorite song by them is "Last Song About Satan" downloadable here) plays at the Middle East @ 9 PM supported by The Wrong Reasons (country with a touch of punk) and The Weisstronauts (sounds like surf/rockabilly, however, i couldn't download full songs from their incredibly slow site). I am definitely going. Tix are $10.
