The card is based on the a cut-down version of the TU116 Turing GPU used in the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and comes paired with GDDR5 memory rather than cutting-edge GDDR6. Overall, the new GTX 1660 is meant to be a cheaper option for the mainstream market, not delivering quite as much performance, but coming in at an even more wallet-friendly $219.
