Hear me out, I think dubai is stupidly extravagant too, and builds stupid things sometimes. But people tell me dubai shoulda done what Oman did and built a traditional city. Well, Oman receives 2 million visitors yearly and dubai gets 18 million so it set out to diversify its economy and did it.
