Raritan’s DCIM Monitoring and Operations

Raritan’s DCIM journey begins with its knowledge of this space. The company has been working with data centers for three decades and have a presence in data center and lab locations across all industries and of all sizes: from small to hyperscale data centers; data centers that are geographically dispersed; and data centers pushing the envelope with new ideas and architectures. As a result, Raritan has created the core competencies needed to develop a DCIM solution that is easy to deploy, use, and scale within heterogeneous environments.

Another concept around Raritan’s DCIM is that it does not try to fill every checkbox on an RFP. Features that are unique to their offering, such as Intelligent Asset Search or Psychrometric Charts with Thermal Envelopes, were added because their customers had a real need for them. And, since Raritan’s software is widely used, the company is able to gain even more customer insights and drive successful deployments.

Founded by Ching-I Hsu, Raritan’s current chairman and CEO, its first DCIM solution (DCIM Monitoring) was introduced in September 2008. Several months later. Raritan introduced DCIM Operations. DCIM Monitoring and Operations are designed to work together or independently.
