Microsoft Rolls Out New Office, Security, Cloud Offerings
Microsoft kicked off its Ignite conference in Orlando with announcements of product updates and new services in security, AI, and other areas as it tries to sustain Azure cloud and Office business growth
• It also announced an agreement on common data standards with Adobe and SAP
• The agreement, called the Open Data Initiative, aims to help comanies combine all the information they retain on single individual customers onto a single real-time and renewable package, CEO Satya Nadella
• The latest product updates include an authenticator service, which allows login to thousands of corporate apps without passwords and search across Bing and internal corporate docs and data from a single search box inside Windows and Office apps
