Some stable kernel updates The latest set of stable kernel updates includes 3.0.89, 3.2.50, 3.4.56, and 3.10.5. As usual, each contains a sizable set of important fixes. Also worth noting: Greg Kroah-Hartman has announced that 3.10 will be the next long-term supported kernel. "I’m picking this kernel after spending a lot of time talking about kernel releases, and product releases and development schedules from a large range of companies and development groups. I couldn’t please everyone, but I think that the 3.10 kernel fits the largest common set of groups that rely on the longterm kernel releases." |
