Abstract
A new species of Rhopalobates Fairmaire, 1897 (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae: Stenochiinae) is described from Arunachal Pradesh, India, representing the third known species of the genus. The new taxon description is accompanied by illustrations, diagnosis, and the identification key to the species.
