Feinstein's replacement

Governor Newsom has chosen a replacement for Senator Feinstein, but she is not a progressive champion.

Here is criticism of some of her actions.

It is too bad that identity politics — a person's demographic classification — exercises people so much that it can distract public opinion from where an official stands on the issues that perse can help decide.
