Particulate air pollution in the US The level of PM2.5 particulate air pollution in the US causes a large increase in cardiovascular disease. Even at the WHO-recommended (lower) concentration limit, the contribution to disease is significant. It also seems to increase the rate of dementia. As global heating continues, there could be more and larger wildfires. They create this pollution and spread it widely. So, if my memory serves, does burning wood in a stove in your home. </li> |
