A social media score for immigrants, US

The bully plans to demand anyone applying for a visa (or a green card, or citizenship) to report their antisocial media accounts, so the government can judge their opinions.

This is a scheme to subvert freedom of speech, through intimidation. Meanwhile, I wonder what they will do to people who say they don't have any social media accounts — even if it is true.

The article assumes this will specifically target Muslims, but doesn't provide a basis for that claim. Won't they persecute dissidents of other religions too?
