Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation is slowing down One of Earth's principal ocean circulation systems, the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, is slowing down so much that it might flip the circulation system into a different mode in which that system hardly flows at all. That would make Europe cold and dry, devastating agriculture there. I think it could mean the death of millions in Europe. Whether any part of Earth would benefit from this change, I don't know. </li> |
