Это прекрасная идея.Я люблю британские сериалы и с радостью делала нашу версию для ЭнБиСи.

Ты, героиня одного из эпизодов.Каково это было- пытаться отыскать свои корни?
Я снялась в первом эпизоде.Я поехала в Восточную Европу,в маленькую деревню в Беларуси, недалеко от Минска, для разъяснения своей родословной.
Это было очень трогательно. Я узнала о своих родственниках, убитых в холокосте.Я поехала в ту деревню, где выросла моя бабушка.
Находиться там и видеть то место, где она жила, было удивительно.Я разговаривала с одной 94 -летней женщиной, которая была там во время убийств.
Мои родители -американцы первого поколения( бабушка сбежала в США как раз после Первой мировой войны, когда были убиты десятки тысяч жидов)
Для меня было удивительно воображать жизнь моих родственников в историческом контексте и представлять сеюе,как они были вынуждены принимать решения, сохранившие их жизнь.
Как повлияло на тебя это путешествие?
Сложно описать.Опыт превзошел все мои ожидания.Мне показалось это интересным, потому что эти события в прошлом формируют жизнь всей семьи и следующих поколений. Это в каком то смысле связано с тем,кто мы и кем мы стали сегодня. Если бы все было прекрасно в Беларуси в то время,тогда семья моей бабушки не старалась бы так сильно уехать в 1921 году,и я бы не находилась здесь и сейчас.
Был ли для тебя { этот опыт} самым сложным?
Да-да.Я обычно стараюсь не показывать свои эмоции, но в данном случае мне было сложно держать себя в руках.э
Была одна вещь,с которой мне было сложно справиться. В США, когда ты покупаешь дом, тебе обязаны сказать умер ли кто-нибудь в этом доме, потому что ты можешь не захотеть его покупать по этой причине.
Но в других странах это попросту невозможно- это целое кладбище людей,убитых { в этом доме}Мне было сложно справиться со всем этим { в одиночку},в то время,как моя семья была в Л.А.
Но в целом,это был удивительный опыт. И ,конечно,я узнала побольше о дорогих усопших родственниках, и поняла почему с ними было так трудно общаться из за их плохого характера.Теперь мне легче их оправдать.

местные историки и этнографы(или крутые белорусские риэлторы) рассказали Лизе что в этой деревне нацисты убили 2 тысячи жидов ,
в числе которых был ее пра-дедушка Мордюкович и другие родственники.
Лиза не смогла сдержать слез у памятного знака.
И положила на него камешек. И купила домик в перспективной туристической зоне, около озера Нарочь

Kudrow lives in Los Angeles with her husband, businessman Michel Stern, and their son Julian, ten.
Your TV production company is involved in a US version of the BBC genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? What attracted you to the project?
It's a fantastic idea. I love the British series and it's exciting doing our own version, for NBC. I think people in the UK will enjoy it, too. They'll be very interested in the famous people taking part - Sarah Jessica Parker and Susan Sarandon have been confirmed as subjects.
You are one of the subjects. What was it like tracing your roots?
I'm actually the first subject. I travelled to Eastern Europe, to a little village in Belarus, not far from Minsk, to trace my family tree. It was very moving. I found out about members of my family who were killed in the Holocaust. I went to the village where my grandmother grew up, and to be there and see where she lived was amazing. I spoke to a 94-year-old woman who was there during the massacres. My parents were first-generation Americans (her grandmother fled to the US following the massacre of tens of thousands of Jews just after World War I). And to me it's fascinating when you start putting your ancestors' lives in a historical context, and find out how they were forced to make big decisions that made the difference between dying and living.
How did the trip affect you?
It is hard to describe; the experience went beyond my expectations. I find it so interesting because these events in the past form the path a family takes ever after. It has a lot to do with who we are and the decisions we take even now. If everything had been perfectly wonderful in Belarus, then my grandmother's family
wouldn't have tried so hard to get her out in 1921 - and I wouldn't be here now.
Was it one of the most challenging things you have done?
It was. I don't tend to show my emotions, but with something like this you can't help but get upset. There were some things I found very difficult. In America, when you're buying a house, they have to tell you whether someone died in it, because you might not want to buy it. But in many other places around the world, that's not
possible - it's a graveyard of people who've been murdered. It was hard for me to deal with all of that while my family were so far away in LA, but on the whole it was an amazing experience. And I certainly got a little more insight into family members who I remember, but aren't with us any more. I can see the things that informed their quirkiness or difficulties, and I can be a little more forgiving towards them.
Did it make you appreciate your own life?
I have nothing but appreciation. I always felt grateful, but now my gratitude is on a different level. It's only by a few decades that I missed being slaughtered myself, so I feel pretty lucky.

Kudrow cried in Belarus
The series Who Do You Think You Are? starts in the US on March 5. As mass media managed to learn, Lisa Kudrow, a Friends’ star, is an executive producer of the show’s American version. Moreover, one of the first episodes tells about her family story.
The Hollywood star and a camera crew visited Belarus in autumn 2008. She decided not to give much publicity to the tour and just said she was making a documentary about her father’s family, who had moved to America from the village of Ilya (now the Vileika district, the Minsk region) before the WWII. Local ethnographers and historians told the actress that the Nazis massacred 2,000 Jews, among them her great-grandparents Mardukhovichs and relatives, in the period of occupation.
Lisa couldn’t refrain from tears near the memorial sign. The whole story will be shown in one of the first episodes on NBC.

Kudrow, who serves as an executive producer on the show, was also the first participant, and she found out a lot more about her heritage than she ever imagined.
"My father had done a lot of genealogy work on my family - he has a 46-page family tree - but when we went into production, [our researchers] decided that I had a good story to tell and that there were some things that my father didn't know about and that I didn't know about," Kudrow told reporters in a conference call Tuesday. "That's the key, that the subject can learn."
Kudrow discovered she had a cousin who had survived the Holocaust, and she traveled to Belarus to learn more about his story. The trip wasn't easy, said Kudrow, but she hopes that her journey, along with those of the other participants, inspires viewers.
"It's the being there and walking the same path that these people walked to their deaths that doesn't allow you to keep it at an emotional distance," said Kudrow.
By connecting contemporary faces to important historic figures and events, it's personalizing the past, she said.
"It's not just something that happened to strangers a while ago anymore," said Kudrow.
"Who Do You Think You Are?" is based on a British documentary series of the same name. Kudrow saw it on a trip to Ireland and was so moved by it, she and producing partner Dan Bucatinsky approached creator Alex Graham about adapting it for American audiences. Graham was on board. The series is reminiscent of PBS' show "Faces of America," hosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr., although Bucatinsky calls Gates' project more "academic."
Kudrow said it wasn't difficult persuading well-known personalities to join in the experiment, because they weren't looking to dig up any "dirt." They simply wanted to tell a story. And they were so surprised and moved by some of the stories that cropped up, Kudrow and Bucatinsky have even thought about expanding the series to include noncelebrities, should they land a second season.
"In America, every single person comes from some kind of struggle," Bucatinsky said. "I just hope that over time, we get to dip into all of the uniquely American stories that exist. I just keep thinking of tons of people whose backgrounds are so varied."

А ты поищи их фотки, впечатлишься :) Имена их я, впрочем, забыла за ненадобностью, ну там имена такого же типа, как и Подлиза Кудрявая ( рожи соответствующие ).

Ну это вообще сферический конь с яйцами, конина известно какая, эталон ЕРЖ. А еще Сырая Джусика Парковка -- отличное сырье для биореактора ( это типа плашку такую на Луркморе нужно сделать для статьи про Парковку ).
Надо сказать мерзопакостнейшее лицо...

Кстати с каждым фильмом её фэйс "ожидовляется". Недаром говорят к старости жиды становятся жидЕЕ.
Кстати у меня такое впечатление, что этническое гавно само себя скоро будет переваривать со свои холокостом.
Тогда часть мира, потребляющая дерьмо, и часть, его производящая, замкнутся друг на друге.
Да, и поэтому как говорил великий Мудак Горбачёв - "И это праааИльно!".
