i do believe that blogging is the beginning of a new tradition; it's a new folklore instrument, something that is going to replace dying local papers, local storytellers, and etc... when I say "local" i no longer mean geographical proximity. the virtual environment allows for projection of many personal dimensions into the newly created spaces. the physical world is getting smaller and smaller, while the world of thought and interaction is becoming almost infinite. As centuries before, the navigation means and instruments will have to emerge before the new Americas are discovered. |
