заезжал Лёня. вместо Los Angeles'a в понедельник, его заслали в субботу вечером в Cleveland, Ohio :((( гоняют человека по Америке, как вшивого по бане - network security this, network security that..посидели сначала в Nola, 535 Ramona. каким-то образом зашла речь о сале. ребёнок спросил, что такое сало. попробовали перевести. получилось что-то вроде pig fat. ребёнок искренне удивился, что такое вообще едят. сказали, "хорошо идет с водкой". ребёнок спросил: "зачем салу идти за водкой?" a действительно, зачем? потом вдруг у всех завибрировали телефоны - Лене на иврите, Ире на русском, мне на английском: все при деле - про сало почти забыли... но потом Лёня вспомнил и заявил, что на Украине есть такие конфеты - "Сало в шоколаде". ребёнок сначала не понял, so i had to explain, что, наверное, похоже на Salami, но сладкое :)) все сползли под стол, но ребёнок почему-то поверил. святая простота. а, может, действительно есть? потом пошли в cafe Verona (Ramona & Hamilton) пить кофе Borghese - excellent stuff.
