as for the point of your article, I know where you are coming from. it IS creepy to observe Verbitsky's 'followers' to actually utilize his (or his public persona's) thinking patterns. my impression is that he knows he is in the wrong to have been preaching all this shit, but he won't admit it and keeps going. think of it as of some fucked up version of the fallacy of sunk cost.
