Applications are invited for a Readership in
Algebra. The School of Mathematics at Leeds has an
international reputation for its research, and in the 2001
RAE all three departments (Pure Mathematics, Applied
Mathematics, Statistics) were rated 5. It now seeks to
strengthen and broaden the research activity of the group
in Algebra, by appointing a Reader in the area of
Noncommutative Algebra and Representation
Theory. Preference may be given to candidates who have a
track record of research in the areas of Homological
Algebra, Quantum Groups, Cluster Algebras.
