Nikolai Nikolaevich is a very sweet and fine person; but in personal relationships he is not at all mature, especially in intuitively perceiving the hidden currents of life. You, as a woman and on the strength of that alone, would have a sense for the inner life. You will have to take the relationship in hand and create a family tone, simplicity. Instead, as I perceive it (excuse me, perhaps I am mistaken!), you have established the tone of an acquaintanceship rather than a family.
