I forgot to write down something that is long overdue
we have AGI now, in fact we had it for some time already.
we refuse to acknowledge it for a number of reasons:
we're deeply delusional about how our intelligence works
we're deeply delusional about how we assess if something is intelligent, especially about disproportional role that social functions play in that assessment
we're deeply delusional about the consequences of different kinds of intelligence being somewhat different
or two put it shortly AI companies put little effort into mimicking people and that's enough to fool us. |
