LinkedIn is dead? Recent changes at LinkedIn resulted in the following:
The posts feed on LinkedIn used to be driven by the people in my network: if I missed something, I could always roll back the feed page and see earlier posts. With the new LinkedIn UI, I only see about eight newest posts, - most of them irrelevant to me, - and all others are lost because there is no more rollback function. My own posts get very few new views now, because they are not discoverable. I expect that people will stop going to LinkedIn as much as they used to. I certainly noticed that the lack of notifications and updates makes me turn away from LinkedIn after a few seconds, because I cannot find any interesting articles to read. Good-bye, LinkedIn. Update: They restored the scroll function - at least, it works most of the time now. However, notifications are still not coming. |
