The mystery of Scriabin
As an 11-year-old boy, Vladimir Horowitz met Scriabin briefly and played for him.

"I played for Scriabin in 1914, one year before he died... It was at five o'clock at the afternoon... I came there, he was sitting like this (imitates a person contorted by severe nervous ticks) - Scriabin, he was crazy, you know..."

That's the decisively important detail not a single biographer or contemporary witness ever mentioned about Scriabin.
