Его работ сохранилось достаточно много, а об одном диптихе, сделанном на шокирующий сюжет по заказу магистрата Брюгге, я сейчас делаю отдельный пост, настолько эта тема современна и актуальна.
Он работал во время правления в Брюгге
Филиппа I Красивого и его жены, Хуаны I (Безумной), позже- королевы Кастилии.

Филипп I Красивый и его жена Хуана I Безумная
( Juana I la Loca, 1479—1555), любила его до такой степени, что после его смерти не расставалась с покойником- сошла с ума и была заключена в монастырь.
О них снят известный фильм- "Безумие любви".
