RISC OS Word Processing RISC OS had an MS Office clone, and game manuals came in its format, instead of PDFs.
I think I will make a separate video on the OS, cuz it was so much better than Windows/OS2/Unix.
OSX and Modern Windows kinda adopted all its innovations, but RISC OS people managed to do everything right on the first try and therefore have no legacy issues. I.e. you can run 80ies RISC OS apps and games on modern ARM desktop without issues, due to there being no DLL hell and architecture allowing for virtualization. The only issue is the absence of floppy drive, so RISC people made virtual floppy system to evade copy protection
https://forums.jaspp.org.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=14That would be akin to running a PC booter game on the modern Window 11, even if with a virtual floppy.
