| 4:18p | Spell of Mastery Rewrite Progress The progress is very slow, because I get distracted by real life and UI is a really big part of the game, requiring large scale changes to the code base to make the game work with any resolution. I wanted to scrap the world scale completely, but the feeling of gran adventure will disappear without a large map, while making the site map size to match world map scale will be too slow even with a pure C++ engine. World map allows updating sites in a more abstract behind-the-scenes way, instead of running all the game physics for each time quant. Yet I will still discard the current turnbased system in favor of rogue-like/FFT style quantified time, since it allows more alive world and multiplayer.
