Yes, the soulless technocrats, as Carleton Lufteufel, are bad guys (they are dangerous to the world). As for the portrait of an alcoholic depicted by mistake on for a sect?.. It's hard to say... Maybe this is a new milestone: people began to see people as people and began to get rid of the worship of technology-obsessed maniacs. I don't know... The question really arises here -- how can this muck -- a hybrid of a soulless scientist and a bureaucrat -- be stopped? Perhaps there really is no way to do it without the invasion of the metaphysical factor ... But this requires the collective efforts of all sinful mankind: a collective movement towards the transcendent... Here I remember the 'Roadside Picnic' by Strugatsky brothers and the famous phrase: "happiness for everyone, free, and no one will get away unsatisfied."
