Еврейская загадка / Jewish puzzle
Какие два кошерных продукта производятся некошерными живыми существами?

Which two kosher products are produced by non-kosher live beings?

Comments will be screened to let everyone make a guess.

Via [info]yyi@lj (I think so).

Уточнение: food / продукты питания.

"That's a very good question" (this is what business people say when they don't know the answer).

LOL

i found this site and gave her the link, maybe it helps:
http://rabbi.bendory.com/docs/baby.php

their take on it, first few lines:
Breast milk is kosher and pareve. The reason is that only the milk of animals we eat is "milk" for kashrut purposes. (In simple terms, milk of a non-kosher animal is not kosher, just like the animal it came from, but a person is not an animal.)

it's interesting, i had never really thought about it. but i'd have been shocked if breastmilk were not considered kosher or halal. but i could also understand if the person giving the milk were expected to keep a kosher diet, maybe it depends on how strict a particular person practices.

Your quote makes sense.

By the way, do you know what "parve" means? Not diary and not meat (earth products - veggies or grain, fish). This answers the question why it's OK to breastfeed with bleeding nipples (had this thrilling experience with my first one - though it took place in Israel, I didn't think about whether it was kosher).
