Haim Arlozorov, who was one of the key figures in the agreements
with Nazis (he was a close personal friend of Goebbels and his family),
was mysteriously assassinated soon after the agreemen was signed,
and since 1936-1937 Nazis were dead sure to exterminate all Jews.
Originally they considered moving all Jews to Palestine as
a viable alternative, but Hitler did not like this idea,
and after he consolidated the power these plans ended.

Interestingly enough, the main opposition to the agreement
with Nazis came from the right-wing Zionists, especially
Zhabotinsky, who called himself "Mussolini of Israel".
The right-wing Zionists (and personally Zhabotinsky)
were accused in assassination of Arlozorov, but now
most historians believe they were innocent; assassination
remains a mystery.

Personally, I think that Arlozorov
was assassinated by time travellers.
