Japan's GDP - $5Trn, population - 127 million.
The quake and tsunami-relate losses are estimated at $50B (1%GDP), population - 10K (<0.01%).
It'll probably take the Japanese less than a year to recover from the disaster. Though, the dead will remain dead.
p.s. we all are going to die anyway. |
