and here's the last one (honest!) before I leave until the 5th.

- when I think that each gene is a state machine, DNA is a network, and [human] body contains bazillion of cells, the computational capability of life completely blows my mind. ( waving to Duglas Adams )

- i don't want to spend time defining love, because it might require all the computing resources of life. but i do want to note what it actually does. here's a thought experiment for you: remove all the kinds of love from your life, one by one. what do you get?

p.s. personally, i think "love" is a convoluted metaphor for a set of chemical reactions controlled by my bazillion cell computer ;)
