It is actually only the latitude of Minsk or so. Estonia, where I am from, is further to the north !

I watched much more hockey back (home ? Russia - no this was in Estonia, USSR ?) than in Canada. Moreover, what used to be the Hockey Night in Canada on Saturdays, became this year the Movie Night in Canada, which suits me better. Only it is anchored by the commentator from the Hockey Night :)

Courageous daughter went straight from +15 in Holland
in jeans and jacket, without bothering to check what weather waits her on the other side. Teper' lezhit na pechi i otpiwaetsja chaem s malinoj (damn, I could not formulate 'lezhat' na pechi' in English.)

I miss hockey, especially that the last year our Sharks did really well for no apparent reason :) And the movies are not for me, since I usually don't watch TV at all, only some sports.

вот и я думаю, что там в темноте и холоде делать. предлагают сидеть в сауне и кататься на оленях, но за этим удовольствием лететь почти сутки в один конец.
а в Перу меня бесплатно никто не зовет. обидно :)
