Now it sounds incredibly idyllic to me too. But back then, when I was growing up in the rural Ukraine (c), my Dad's hobby was пчеловодство :)

No one keeps the bee here, true. But when it flies out of your snapshot, it goes home, to be kept. Gently :)

it would fabulous to go back in time and see all that was happenning with you at the time through your present "mind's eye". live through memories in real time once in a while. well, it's almost possible :)

my dad's hobby was дача :) he would spend all his weekends caring for his strawberries and tomatoes. i wonder what happened to the trees i planted on that little plot of land back then.

I am flattered. Just wait a couple of weeks till mimosa gets in bloom. my journal will be full of yellow fuzziness :)

I walk my dog twice a day: once in spring, and once in winter :)

It's really nice and warm outside right now, but few people actually take time to notice it.
