We examined rates and correlates of child abuse in an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse sample of girls with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD; n = 140) and a matched comparison sample of girls without ADHD (n = 88), all aged 6-12 years. A thorough chart review reliably established documented rates of physical and sexual abuse in both samples.
Results
Of the 24 cases with abuse histories, four were comparison girls (4.5% of comparison sample) and 20 were girls with ADHD (14.4% of the ADHD sample). The chi-square test of this difference was significant, p < .05. The odds ratio was 3.5. As shown in Table 2, the ADHD sample had numerically higher rates of all types of abuse

исследовались девочки, в семьях с СДВГ абьюз (пренебрежение)было в 1/5 семей против 1/20 абьюза в семьях без СДВГ.
И это без специального исследования пренебрежения до 2 лет.
Если было бы не 1/5, а хотя бы 1/2, с учетом латентности пренебрежения можно было бы говорить о 100% зависимости пренебрежения и СДВГ. В данном случае зависимость может быть и немалая, но даже не 50%, так что автор статьи не совсем прав, соглашаюсь.

А где причина и где следствие? Каждый, ктоимел делос ребенкомс СДВГ знает, что нервное истощение неизбежно. А где оно,там и пренебрежение и насилие встречаются чаще.
