В году так 97м в Национальный Парк Ашкелона привезли куски известняка.

Потом арабы с болгарками сделали из них колонны, и прочие запчасти в римском стиле.

Через несколько лет я с удивлением обнаружил, что потемневший новодел числится достопремечательностями парка.

А с трубой водопадик на ручье Бокек, что возле Мертвого моря. Может не весь, но часть точно из трубы.

А ещё есть Римский город в Бейт-Шеан.

Там в историях местных жителей-экскурсоводов дыр больше чем в сыре. Как монеты находили буде детями с тут-же отдавали властям (ага-ага).

Как с целью трудоустройства государство устроило раскопки.

Я уже не помню подробностей, но с пониманием тогда отнесся с нежеланием ЮНЕСКО признать это место историческим.

A few years later I was surprised to find out that the darkened new material is listed as a landmark of the park.

And with the pipe there is a waterfall on the Bokek stream, near the Dead Sea. Maybe not all of it, but some of it comes from the pipe.

And then there's the Roman city of Beit Shean.

There are more holes in the stories of local residents-guides than in cheese. How coins were found when they were children and immediately given to the authorities (aha-aha-aha).

How for the purpose of employment the state organised excavations.

I don't remember the details, but I understood the reluctance of UNESCO to recognise this place as historical.
