Европарламент попросил Януковича лишить Бандеру звания героя

"Европарламент выражает сожаление по поводу решения тогдашнего Президента Украины Виктора Ющенко присвоить звание Героя Украины лидеру Организации украинских националистов Степану Бандере, который "сотрудничал с нацистским режимом".

Об этом идет речь в резолюции, одобренной сегодня на сессии Европарламента в Брюсселе.

Депутаты Европарламента выразили надежду, что новый Президент Украины пересмотрит это решение.

"Надеемся в этом контексте, что новое украинское руководство пересмотрит такие решения, и будет придерживаться преданности европейским ценностям", - написано по этому поводу в проекте резолюции".
