Про разноцветные чулки я знаю, это понятно, но там же и формой штанины разные - эти "фонарики"... на одной ноге одна "гирлянда", на другой - другая. Это тоже сугубо по закону моды?

Это костюмы ландскнехтов, у них много чего причудливого было- драпировки и букеты на гульфиках и т.п. В гражданском костюме разных драпировок я особо не встречала.
