i am working in one of the largest investment banks in the US (second week)
my fresh observations
1) in the reachest organization in the wold (it is, really) - there is no free soda or water or coffee on the floor
2) NOBODY takes lunch breaks
3) work day in my area - at least 14 hrs a day
4) livejournal, photki, and all ouside e-mails are blocked so all you can do is check the weather (weather .com) plus you are told that they review your internet browsing "for security purposes".
5) my phone has a little screen which counts the minutes of my conversation. the practice is that my phone activity is brought to my manager once a month...
6) yes yes there are blackberries and cell phones. but soon they will start killing the signals...I mean it is a concentration camp - Nika is right.
Money - well considering how much of your chors you need to out source to work those hours - it is not THAT much ( and considering how much your health will deteriorate)

So question is NIKA, CHTO DELAT DOROGAYA REDAKZIYA, KAK ZIT DALSHE.......

В чем же проблема? Бросьте свою работу и езжайте в Доминиканскую Республику. Там все дешево, продукты натуральны, и нет никаких инвестиционных банков. Будет Вам там счастье, Ника не даст соврать.

вот когда все начнут переезжать, туто счастье и закончиться: цены вырастут,
продукты станут из америки завозить :- )
всетаки Труль, даже если вы очень быстро печатаете, думаю, что нет ни одного конкурента вам из русских вынужденных в Америке зарабатывать кусок хлеба насущного. Это очень сложно и жестко.
