URGENT — To accelerate Covid-19 diagnostic testing capacity in SF Bay Area right now:

Seeking 2-5 CLIA certified lab techs to work with Stanford and UCSF — Do you know anyone qualified who can help?

Eve Blossom is helping to scale a Covid-19 test and has a specific current local need in COVID-19 testing.

Stanford and UCSF have a rapid same day test and are doing really well. But in order to maximize the number of tests they can do daily, they don’t have enough lab techs to test and to scale to get to the maximum number of tests every day.

Needed: 2-5 local Bay Area CLIA certified lab techs, ideally with experience in nucleic-acid based diagnostics but not mandatory.
In addition, UCSF will need up to 10 local Bay Area CLIA certified lab techs to do the same. Experience with the Bravo liquid handling robot or the Bio-Rad CFX384 real-time PCR system would be great for here but again, not mandatory.

These lab techs would be trained for the specific workflow and assist in testing currently to scale the tests. Later, we will want to scale to other Clia certified labs but for now, this is our most critical need.
