Indeed, Reich wasn't just a founder of sexual revolution. He even wrote the book "sexual revolution" and probably coined the term.

Nevertheless, being liberal and progressive didn't mean exactly same things fo Reich back then, as it means for us today. For examples he didn't approved homosexuality, sex change, sex toys and various other fetishes.

Oh! i even didn't think i'll guess 'bout ‘sexual revolution’!
I.e. such dudes (like Reich) could envy to stereotypical whites.
Simply normal family in western hemisphere usualy pictured as blond blue-eyed puritan family. Maybe he envied to them, cuz he'd be like them?
The second reason's that maybe behind these people (Reich-like evangelists of new modernist view on the family & clild sexuslity) were disgisting capitslist with ‘freak-control’ onto population. But this an old theory -- to manipulate people by sex and favor blacks as more sex-obsesive men (so more manipulated by heartless capitalits). Nowadays -- when‘digital gulag’ is more explicite problem -- there is another importent issues.
As for his treatment ideas, they're more than controversive...
