Почему?
Южинские считали себя метафизиками высочайшего. Но у них не было систематического гуманитарного образования. Они просто бессистемно что-то читали в Ленинке.
Они не были знакомы ни с современной французской Философией тип Фуко и Делеза. А там все уже обсуждали Маркиза де Сада и Жоржа Батая, который уже писал шок-литературу в 20-м веке. Исследования западных религиоведов по тому же эзотерическому буддизму и шиваизму они не читали.
А чисто с художественной стороны, можно отметить то, что книгу издавали на западе. и там фурора она не вызвала.
It was considered that Mamleev was a popular writer in the West.
Only on a relative scale.
In USA it was mostly incomplete version of "Shatuni" available called "The Sky Above Hell and other stories". And noithing else was published until the ful version was published as "sublimes" in 2015.
I don't think there was a problem to publish Mamleev if there was a demand. So, I conclude that there was no denmand. But it still being published very slowly as it is read by a very narrow margine of people. Specificly, Ruasia and Russian literature funs. And they will love it. But they basically freaks.
The books was published in Europe. But they will eat everything. Imagine, they eat frogs and snails in France!
Otheral I think, that the book is good. I just feel that now Mamleev that there is lack of solid critical reception in the large context. Clearly, Mamleev is not as popular as Solzhenicin or Nabokov, not even as musch as Sorokin. | |
