Men - human beings.

That's for sure. Men are human beings. Have not seen anything about women there. Well, женщина - друг человека.

Maybe you should look into dictionary a bit more ofter and learn that word "man" has more than one meaning. Besides a common meaning "male" it also has other denotations. "A human regardless of sex or age; a person." & "The human race; mankind."
If the posted quote taken from the Declaration of Independence, then it has the latter meanings I described, since the purpose of the document was to free all persons from dependence and not to reinforce hierarchial stucture.
In your quote "woman is a friend of a person", you imply that woman is not a human being. Well, then what are women? And then if women are not human beings, how can they produce human beings? Also under following assumption, men would not be human beings either, since women are major contributors to the process of procreation.

Pry čym tut chvieminism? Ja prosta pakazała što toj čałaviek mieŭ drenny arhumant, a taksama ni toje tłumačeńnie slova 'men'. :-)
Ja ni kazała što žančyni lepšyja za mužykoŭ i h.d. Voś heta dyk chvieminizm, XPEH raspačaŭ muskulinizm, na jaho łajsia. :-) :-)
