At the same time China promotes HRT and transitioning.
Basically China tries to force its gays into transitioning.
I think it is a good think, because western gay bros love harassing trannies.
In fact gays declared transitioning to be the new "conversion therapy" for gays. I.e. these bullies believe that I'm a gay like them, which is incorrect. We trannies are not necessary gay. Sexuality is orthogonal to gender. I'm bi though, since I can date both guys and girls. But large portion of trannies date women, yet they are not okay with masculinity. In fact there is a group of trannies, who despise any masculinity and transitioned to get rid of their male qualities. I share some sentiments with them, but I had a ton more reason to transition.
