I ran across this woman's work a few months ago and was going to make a post but never did it. She is a wonderful artist with so many fascinating paintings. One of the most interesting things there, too, is her biography because it explains her unique life and why she paints the way she does. I really enjoyed it. When she was just 15, she joined the Chinese army:
