This is the problem of our civilixation: there's a lot of information, people read a lot, think a lot (although it doesn't give money to the majority). I solve this by walking in the parks (but the quantity of plastics in the parks is growing so much, and there're many becyclists there as well, so it is not yet an ideal place for full info-detox); you can also do "silence pauses" when you dont read anything or dont watch art-house movies. And so yes: the task of the merchant society is to make us information-saturated blockheads buying plastic statues of Shakyamuni Buddha...
