Sadkov, you are moronic as always. Minority of low-grade unprestigious collages are for-profit. Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale, Brown, all ivy league, small liberal arts collages are all non-profit. State run collages such as those (UC Berkeley for example) in the university of California system are also colleges, and couldn't be for-profit even theoretically.

It's not a joke. It's the fact that you are a moron, and who doesn't know the meaning of the terms he uses. The size of tuition fees does not affect whether a college is for-profit or not. Same goes for US hospitals which are largely non-profit too. Its about spending surplus revenue on the designated mission, and not distributing it to anyone.
