equality and accessibility in children's literature") и, руководствуясь
ее указаниями, подвергли жестокой цензуре книги Роальда Даля,
во имя инклужн, дайверсити и экюити.

Вообще занятно, как меняется отношение
к цензуре. В 1960-е за цензуру топили всякие
условно "правые" и противники прогресса, те
же самые ублюдки, которые мечтали запретить
Дарвина, проституцию и аборты. Сейчас эти граждане,
наряду с абортами (и даже иногда с Дарвином, хотя
с ним сейчас стало проще) пытаются запретить
цензуру, а условно "левые" и "прогрессисты"
готовы лечь костьми за цензуру, и требуют
запретить, под страхом строжайшего наказания,
"мисгендеринг", гомофобию и проституцию.

штат Нью-Йорк, в судорогах цензурного пароксизма,
принял закон, который требовал от социальных сетей
жестоко пресекать неполиткорректные заявления; закон
удалось отменить, как противоречащий первой поправке.

Но вообще в кругах, близких к Байдену, уже давно
ведут речь об отмене первой поправки, наряду со второй,
типа обе поправки чисто фашистские и их сторонники
исключительно политические экстремисты, белые супрематисты,
гомофобы, трансофобы и системные расисты.

Думаю, в этой каденции до подобного не дойдет, но
сам разворот донельзя интересный.

Отквоченный текст в дескриптивной части про жителей Евразии правда истинная, а попытка его обьяснить смешением крови и расовым балансом - влияние ноуки того времени. Кроули жил во времена ноучного расизма, общим местом были рассуждения о предрасположенности рас к интеллектуальному или физическому труду. Вся эта белиберда ушла только после второй мировой, когда он и сам вскоре помер.
