That's indisputable, but I want from you something different. Howd'ya know these societies have any kind of real working secret knowledge of nature entirely unknown to public? I mean let's say they have some alchemical grimoires or something similar. Are you sure that at least some of them are really capable to conduct their Magnum Opus and come all the way down to rubedo with those pieces of waste paper (hi, Myrzin-Pituknovsky)?
