На днях какому-то (сугубо либеральному) деятелю навесили shadow-ban в Инстаграмме, потому что он сказал нехорошее про Байдена: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/instag Оказывается, байденовский драконовский законопроект, по которому ввели 50 новых федеральных преступлений, расширили смертную казнь на еще 60 преступлений, назначили обязательные минимальные сроки за наркотики, и стали дичайше сажать малолеток (и до кучи, запретили заключенным получать образование, раньше было можно) никак не повлиял на количество заключенных в Штатах, и заявлять, что он повлиял - значит говорить заведомую ложь. Интересно, что сию заведомую ложь десятки раз повторяла сама вице-президент Харрис в борьбе за номинацию, ну и вообще эта точка зрения давно стала общим местом. Инстаграмм заявил, что коль скоро USA Today не отказался от своего факт-чекинга, это утверждение остается заведомой ложью и ниебет. Я к тому, что борьба за "правду" в социальных медиа это такая же цензура, как и борьба с хейт-спичем, разницы никакой. "Правда" есть понятие такое же субъективное, как и хейт-спич, борцы за "правду" в Интернете это такие же любители затыкать людям рот, как борцы с "ненавистью" и богохульством. Интересно, что отцы-основатели все это прекрасно понимали, и никакого факт-чекинга в качестве цензурного механизма не требовали, а сейчас каждый второй "либерал", включая поголовно всех политиков демократической партии, требует цензуры ложных мыслей, в широком спектре от антивакцинации и кемтрейлов до отрицателей антропогенного потепления и оценок IFR коронавируса.
