Now I continue with non-standard electronic music. The problem with that is that in the year 1969 There were no standard electronic music. The Moog synthesizers existed. But very few people knew how to use them to create actual music. We already have seen experiments of past Beatles members and they hardly were music.

Album: An Electric Storm
Artist: White Noise

Genre: Psychedelic Pop, Experimental, Art Pop, Sound Collage

This album has some common DNA with audio experiments of past Beatles' members. But unlike Them "White Noise" introduces one important component into their sound collages, namely rhythm and beat. And this elevates this album a lot. But it still quite experimental which I can value. For example, this alum has its electric sounds cut up with barking dog and pornographic sex sound. Of all albums this album resembles a legendary 1968' "The United States of America". In terms of mood and topic this album has a huge range. Some parts actually sound like dark ambient. This can be expected from the tracks with names like "The Black Mass: An Electric Storm In Hell (The White Noise)". But, a big portion of this album has exactly the same psychedelic pop modality as Beatles' hit songs. The only that distances those song on the album from the conventional pop is a rather weak vocals of David Vorhaus, which are not acceptable in pop charts.

"Moondog" was an eccentric NYC' composer who got a habit of appearing in the public dressed as a viking or a magician. In 1969 he relaunched his career with this eponymous release. Basically it is a complete concerto of contemporary classical mixed with some jazz-like rhythm. But I decided to add "Moondog" to this comp a this album contains an electronic section "Minisym #1" which is both rhythmic and electronic. Actually, I believe its sound is referenced in the Coil's album "Stolen and contaminated songs". Personally, I'm not a great fan of Moondog's sound. But I still think it's pretty interesting and its complexity is admirable.

Album: The Electric Lucifer
Artist: Bruce Haack
Release date:1970
Genre:: Moogsploitation, Psychedelic Pop, Electronic
Scene: American Outside

Bruce Haack is a very strange figure in the history of the electronic music. From the mid sixties he used synthesizers to record albums of educational children's music. But eventually he recorded "The Electric Lucifer". This album was intended as pro-Christian, But this is hard to guess from looking to its cover or just listening to some of its songs. So it can be interpreted as an album of strange satanic, or more precisely, Luciferian hymns performed with strange distorted vocal. This album, probably, was particularly eerie when it was released, when the electric music still was a novelty. This sound never became a part of mainstream music or influenced any other important bands. But I still can quite enjoy it.
