Let me just remind you that a few months before the Munich Agreement, in the spring of 1938, Chamberlain, British Prime Minister (1937-40), had announced to his country
exactly the same thing that Peterson told us. Chamberlain said about the Czechs and Czechoslovakia that they, the British, do not care about a country about which they
know practically nothing.
And on September 30, 1938 in Munich, he and his French counterpart presented Hitler with Sudetenland. The rest of Europe Hitler took as a gift to himself without their
permission.
Of course, I'm not saying that Putin can conquer Europe. But this example says that in no case should you give in to authoritarian scum. They see weakness
and want more, and more and more...
